啟示錄是聖經中最少人讀，最少在 講台被分享的書。但啟示錄是唯一 本聖經中的書神保證祝福讀者; 啟1:3-念這書上預言的、和那些聽見又 遵守其中所記載的、都是有福的． 因為日期近了。 其實啟示如果根據字面去解釋， 是 很通順的。但很可惜，有很多 神學 家和聖經學者都喜歡用寓意 或象徵 去解釋啟示錄。聖經告訴 我們，聖 靈會親自光照我們(約 14:26,16:13) ，讀聖經 時能靠字面，明白聖經 。但如果經 文都要照寓意（或象 徵）解經的話 （如說創世紀中神 分開光與暗是分 開善與惡，啟示 錄中的新耶路撒冷 城是代表教會 ，等）就只有'高人'， 才能明白聖經。 基督徒要對這種教導格外小心。 這 種解經法標奇立異,非常動聽， 但1） 它剝奪了聖徒能靠聖靈明白 聖經的 權利，2）它會影響聖經的 連貫性， 智慧和理性，3）它使人 懷疑聖經的 準確性和真實性(如果 聖經中的光暗 ，不是光暗，描述 天堂的城不是城 ，那聖經所說的 罪，是罪嗎？ 可能 姦淫，同性戀 都是有其它的寓意或 解釋)。聖經 就會完全失去權威，而 權威就會 給了那些'高人'或對經文有 特 別見解的人身上。弟兄姊妹千萬 要小心。要靠聖靈的光照明白聖 經 ，而不是去追求某講員對聖經 似是 而非的見解！
