    The 58th most popular last name in China. It is one of the oldest last names. Huang Di had 25 sons. His youngest son was Yuyan, who was awarded the duke of Ren. Among Yuyans brothers, there were a total of 12 given last names. These are considered as the oldest last names in China. During Zhou Dynasty, the Ren name was further divided into 10 other last names, including Xie, Zhang, Xue, Xu, Lu, Shu, Zhong, Quan, Guo.
